FITNESS
Aqua treadmill training is a full body workout for your horse leading to increased respiratory and muscle strength. The variable water resistance and belt speed helps increase endurance and builds muscle tone and strength.

REHAB
Aqua therapy provides a low impact high variable workout for your horse which can aid rehabilitation following injury. Cold water therapy helps reduce tendon temperatures and heat or swelling in the limbs as well as boost circulation.

MOBILITY
Correct work on the water treadmill increases core strength and limb function resulting in increased mobility and stride length. By using varying applications of depth specific muscle groups can be worked on for improved biomechanical function.
Residential Stays
Working alongside your veterinary team we can offer residential stays with regular water treadmill treatments according to your horses needs. Here at Witheford Consultancy we have often had horses from a variety of disciplines referred to us for sports specific treatment and tailor made exercise programmes.
