Horse Transport

September saw us take delivery of a brand new Oakley Lambourn Racemaster.
This vehicle is Ideal for bad travellers as it has individual
breast bars and stainless steel tubes for maximum horse safety. Secure
partitioning and a bespoke sniffer pad overlaid on the cage partition
section enables colts and fillies to travel together.
The full width and height side ramp has loading doors to assist the nervous or reluctant loader and the added bonus of CCTV to the horse area with a colour monitor in the cab to allow driver and groom to observe the horses whilst travelling.
For those of you with horses who have loading problems, Gary & Co. can travel to your yard to collect the most nervous or stubborn characters to be brought back to Westcourt for full training.
For racehorses in our care we are now able to arrange stalls practices or work sessions at Lambourn or various racecourses at short notice without the need to rely on third party transporters.
Witheford Equine is a company registered in England and Wales with Company No 3574879

By
working with Brian Oakley and his team, Gary came up with several
amendments to the standard features for added safety with more difficult
horses such as tie rings at a higher level than usual, an extension to
the rubber panel covering and relocating the CCTV cameras to the rear of
the horse section to give a better view and keep the camera out of the
horses' reach.
This vehicle also meets DEFRA certification requirements for travel in Europe.
