Gary is often asked to 'rescue' horses by owners who have, for whatever reason, found themselves needing to re-home a horse and we also rehabilitate many racehorses on behalf of Trainers and Owners when they have either reached the end of their racing career or are simply not quite suited to a life in racing.
He very much shies away from being a horse dealer and all horses that are sold, re-homed or loaned only leave Westcourt once the new owner has spent time at Westcourt working with Gary and his team to ensure that the match is the right one. Even after leaving Westcourt, we always reassure the new owner that if for any reason, the match doesn't work out, we prefer to have the horse back here rather than it being sent to an unsuitable home.
Gary suggests that you visit Westcourt, spend some time looking around at the horses in the paddock and then once he has an idea of what you are looking for, he can suggest a match. If he feels we have nothing suitable at that time, once he has met you he will know what to look out for and we will contact you accordingly.
Details of our horses will be featured and updated on this website. We have a variety of other horses including youngstock, broodmares and foals at foot - all available to for sale. Gary is happy to discuss options for purchase to include special arrangements for livery and for these horses to return to Westcourt when ready to be started so if you are interested please contact us to arrange a visit to discuss.
All horses sold from Westcourt are micro-chipped and come with a passport and a record of their medical history to include worming, dental, osteopathic and farrier history.
